Valpas exists to make every hotel stay safe, sustainable, and bed bug-safe.
Our journey started with a trip gone terribly wrong.
In 2013, our co-founder Martim brought home bed bugs—an all-too-common nuisance for travelers. But it was discovering the health and environmental risks of traditional insecticides that sparked something bigger: the need for safe, lasting change.
As bed bugs continue to spread, the need for a proactive, sustainable solution is greater than ever. People deserve to travel without fear of bringing an infestation home, and our planet deserves better than toxic chemicals. That's why we created Valpas—a thoughtful solution that permanently protects hotels from bed bugs without pesticides.
Valpas makes pest control obsolete. With Valpas' patented smart bed legs installed, hotels are able to enjoy permanent protection from bed bug infestations and offer every guest rock-solid digital certification that their room is bed bug-safe.
Together with our 300 member hotels (and growing) we're setting a new standard for responsible hospitality, creating a world where travelers can roam freely, sleep soundly, and leave a lighter footprint.
